What to Expect

Thank you for your interest in our Church

It can be hard coming to a place you are unfamiliar with. Below are a few things to help you feel a little more comfortable when you come to Bigfork Assembly of God. When you visit for the first time, we will have a simple Information Card to help us get to know you and a small gift of appreciation for you.

What to Wear

Whether you wear a suit and tie or come straight off the deer stand, we want you to feel comfortable worshiping with us.

The SErvice

We want to see people connect with God in a real way during our services. We make every effort to incorporate modern worship, relevant messages from the Word of God, and an opportunity to respond to God.

What about my Kids

Kids' Church is offered during the school year for children 4 years old through 5th grade. These children first join with their parents in the sanctuary for a time of worship and then are dismissed to Kids' Church in the ministry house. This class utilizes an inspiring curriculum called "High Voltage".

The Early Childhood class is not currently meeting, though the livestream plays in our early childhood room to allow parents to view the service while little ones play, if desired. When offered, Early Childhood Class is held in the ministry house on Sundays beginning at 10:00 AM. Two volunteers care for these young ones and help them interact with Scripture through the "My First Hands-On Bible".

When you come for the first time we ask that you accompany your children into class to fill out a registration card. We will ask if there is a phone number we can text during service in case you are needed for any reason. All of our teachers have completed a ministry application and background check.

Family First Sunday

On the first Sunday of each month, we invite the Kids' Church class to participate in the entire service with us. We want our children to see adults active in worship and responding to the Word of God. We do our best to have some upbeat, kid-friendly songs and a kids' element added to the message for these services.

We also celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of the month. To participate in Communion with us, we ask only that you have confessed Jesus Christ as your Savior and are actively living for Him. We do not have restrictions on age when it comes to Communion. We ask that parents take responsibility for their children and ensure they understand this reminder of our Lord's sacrifice.

Offerings

We receive an offering at every service to give the chance for our congregation to experience the joy of giving, both through God's tithes and our offerings. If you are a guest with us, please do not feel any obligation to give in the offering.

Thank you for visiting BigforkAG.com!
